Chuck Morin

Writer, comedian, and illustrator

Chuck Morin is the Montreal-based writer and comedian behind the sketch comedy series Ferda [Sesame] Boys. In 2024, he was awarded a Canada Council for the Arts Research and Creation grant to develop this project and is currently seeking production funding to bring the series to screen.

Chuck’s writing features realistic dialogue leveled up through wordplay, drawing from his background in transcription and journalism (published under the name Charlie Morin). In stand-up, he performs as an empathetic gym bro with a “medically diagnosed sleeper build” (spoiler: it’s sleep apnea). He’s currently developing his debut YA novel The Daring Game, a comedy-drama following three unreliable narrators in a high-stakes game of truth or dare. Chuck’s visual art includes the award-winning single-panel cartoon Millennial Digs (The Uniter, 2020-2022) and a 1,265 sq. ft. indoor public mural for Pulse Montreal (2025).
